Our Mission
Eclectic Minds serves a population of children between the ages of 2 and 8 years old. Through educational intervention programs, we provide tutorial services, advocacy and parent/family training.

The tutorial services we provide address a wide range of issues, including phonetics, motor skills, eye-hand coordination and sensory integration, to name a few. Our goals are to provide continued support to help the child develop and grow. The child may not always attain age-appropriate academics, but we strive to reach those goals in a fun learning environment.
HOW Eclectic minds came about
Eclectic Minds was formed as a result of having children who required supportive services. At that time (in the 90s), there was not much available. My children required someone to advocate for them in their schools, before it was mainstream and acceptable. I had to educate myself and learn to navigate the educational system to help my children.

At the time my children required supportive services, the only options that were available were for those children who were severely disabled, and the approach provided limited services and/or learning opportunities.
As a result of my children requiring supportive services, Eclectic Minds was formed. Eclectic Minds was founded in 2007 to provide training, coaching and educational support to children who have a different way of learning and thinking.

We focus on the family dynamics in helping the child develop and grow. We offer Parent Workshops because we believe the family is the nucleus, and the more support the child receives, the more they have an opportunity to grow and achieve success.
This artwork represents Justin A. and all the children on the spectrum who struggle to connect with their peers, family and themselves, because they think outside the box!
